Dimmable LED Tape Lighting Installed in Stair Diffuser Channels

We ran dimmable 24V LED tape lighting through a diffuser channel along the front edge of each step. The diffuser channel is the key part. It spreads the light evenly across the full width of the tread instead of showing individual hot spots. No glare, no harsh points of light - just a clean, even glow across every step.

The warm tone of the LEDs works really well with the wood treads and white risers in this space. It feels intentional, not like an afterthought. And because it's dimmable, the homeowner can dial it all the way down for a subtle nighttime glow or bring it up when they need full visibility.
